Firstly, thank you for your desire to help out our network! The Staff Committee is a part
of the network staff and its members are expected to obey the
Network Rules and Server Policy appropriately as
documented on this page. Though new official
home channel operators and IRC Operators are sometimes chosen by the
Network Committee, being a member of the Staff Committee does in no
way guarantee that you will become our official home channel
operator or IRC Operator. If your intent is to become only an
Operator, this position is not for you. Likely candidates will
possess the skills, respect, attitude and creativity to ensure
Zotalk lives up to its slogan, "Unification of the Mizo's," and
grows to suit the needs of its current and future users. We are
dedicated to being the most stable and secure network, providing our
users with the best services available and providing consistent and
complete support to our users.
Minimum requirements to become a staff member:
- 1. Nickname must be registered for at least 30 days on the network.
- 2. Nickname/Name must be registered on the network forum/website.
Your responsibities will include but are not limited to:
- 1. Assisting users and other staff in the Zotalk Official Channels: #AizawlChat, #Help
- 2. Ensuring all staff conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner while in a network endorsed channel or while dealing with other users.
- 3. Monitoring Operator activity including, but not limited to, KICK, BANNED, KILL, AKILL, GLINE, and Services usage.
- 4. Being proactive in coming up with solutions to known or possible future issues, changes in policy and anything that may affect our users and our staff to ensure Zotalk success and growth.
- 5. Having knowledge of all Zotalk Services commands and be able to instruct others on their use.
- 6. Respect of people as they request assistance, utilizing patience and a positive attitude in our client-oriented service environment.

- 2. Any references listed will be approached and vetted to support your application. If they are uncontactable then your application will suffer as a result.
- 3. You are judged solely upon information provided by your application and by references. For that reason, you are advised to take time to fill it in carefully, being as detailed as you can, as modifications will not be accepted once the application is submitted.
- 4. Upon submission, the application is subject to a 7-days voting period - do not expect any response during this voting period.
- 5. The network committee vote is final and binding. If rejected, you may not re-apply for 6 months.

ALL INFORMATION PROVIDED ON THIS APPLICATION WILL BE VERIFIED. IF FALSE INFORMATION IS DISCOVERED THE APPLICATION WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY REJECTED.
ALL INFORMATION WILL BE KEPT STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL, AND WILL NOT BE SOLD OR PASSED ON TO ANY THIRD PARTIES.
